Its about standing up for others, confronting your demons, and taking time to rest and heal. All made by me, a disabled, neurodivergent lesbian trans woman with depression, anxiety, chronic body pain, and a job.

hi hi! looking at the pdf as I'm writing this. Spoons is rules-lite enough that we can flavor it how we like, while still giving it distinct mechanics that makes this game a unique experience for me. I love that the classes each support the party in their own way, like real support systems that provide structure and safety in times of hardship. we are all the guardians of the sanctuary we make for ourselves, and we decide what influences we let in! I think gamifying our journeys is a beautiful way to cope with our struggles and become resilient in the face of discrimination.
definitely trying this out with my housemate once the semester ends! I am always the gm for our games and we've been wanting a true co-op like this. now, we both have mixed experiences as nonbinary folk, and had toxic presences in our lives. I might bring this to dnd club, too, just to put feelers out for the kinds of rpgs they accept! (also to send curious adventurers your way...)
